Advanced Equity for Women and Girls through education: Organized and provided volunteer support for the Defining Your Path Conference held at the University of Utah in October 2009. The Conference is used to expose 8^th grade girls the educational opportunities & field that are available after high school.

Advanced Equity for Women and Girls through advocacy & Promote Diversity: The Branch collected children's book at our Red Candle Tea in December to donated to LoveJoy's Libros. The goal of this program is to advance the literacy skills of children in Salt Lake City communities.

Enhanced AAUW's visibility in community:

1. Volunteered at the Democracy store to do voter education at the Democracy store.

2- Participated in and helped put on a joint legislative meeting with the support of Wasatch Branch.

3- Supported international women's day by watching "half the sky live" a movie put on by the organization 'Care' and supported by the national organization of AAUW.

Recruited new members:

1. Held a social "tea party" event at the Tea Grotto and opened the event to friends, family and the public.

2- Branch involvement with the Defining your Path conference (2 members recruited).
